Chilliwack River Valley Trails Day

// by: Emma Graham

We invite you to join us at the official ribbon cutting ceremony that will celebrate a year of progress and revitalization, as well as unveil the new Chilliwack River Valley interpretive signage and information kiosk.

2015 was a great year for trails in the Chilliwack River Valley! A tireless trail crew was hard at work on fifteen of the Valley’s trails from brushing back vegetation, building boardwalks, rerouting water and installing trail markers. In addition to this amazing trail work, information kiosks surrounded by more than 300 First Nations culturally significant plants were installed at three locations.  It has taken a great deal of collaboration by many key community partners to make this a reality including grant funding generously provided by TD Green Streets, National Trails Coalition and the BC Parks Enhancement Fund.
