A women's lightweight, dynamic alpine mountaineering boot with a synthetic Schoeller® upper and waterproof. breathable GORE-TEX®
The hard-wearing, high-tensile Schoeller® nylon upper is reinforced with rubber rand and TPU inserts for additional rock and scree protection and the trademarked SALEWA® 3F System reinforced with Kevlar cables. For additional weather protection, the GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort membrane offers wearers both comfort and weather protection in changing conditions, including heavy rain and deep snow.
Underfoot, the high-performance Pomoca™ Alpine Dynamic outsole ensures secure grip and traction on rock, snow and ice and good crampon compatibility. It features a precision climbing zone, S-path guidance for walkability – and special rubber compound for improved grip and traction on snow and ice.
On big mountain days with long descents, localized shock absorption zones reduce stress on the knees and ankles. And the Ankle Protector System (APS) does exactly what it says – the thermoformed material heel cuff offers extra ankle lateral-support, especially on downhill sections.
The Ortles Edge Mid Gore-Tex® mountain boot effectively introduces a new era of lightweight versatility for alpine mountaineering.
