Mt. Waddington’s Outdoors hosts a variety of community-driven events in Whistler and Chilliwack, making us a go-to destination for things to do and discover what’s on in Whistler and Chilliwack. As a backcountry-focused shop, we offer unique events like our morning Dawn Patrol group ski tour up the Blackcomb Uphill route, bringing together local ski tourers keen for a workout, to practice with gear, and make new buddies.

In addition to our morning ski tour, we organize movie nights in partnership with both our brands and local filmmakers. We also collaborate with guiding operations like Ascent Guides, Extremely Canadian and MSAA to host backcountry classes and clinics covering essential backcountry topics.
