Built to maximize airflow and keep weight as minimal as possible, Astral's V-Eight and new EV-Eight (eco foam) series are pack-rafting best-sellers. High-back pfd's are intended for flatwater and easy rivers, however due to limited lower back protection, this PFD is not intended for whitewater uses.
