Drift Ice Axe

An ice axe for all those who want to do away with every gram of unnecessary weight in the mountains. The ultralight DRIFT is the ideal companion for ski tours and projects where an ice axe is carried just in case but not constantly used. It weighs a mere 250 g and can even be stowed in a backpack thanks to its compact size of just 45 cm. To avoid damage when doing this, we have rounded all sharp edges. The slightly curved, anodized aluminum shaft is lightweight and has an ergonomic shape and a sandblasted finish to make it easy and pleasant to hold. The ridges in the lower section offer even greater grip. The spike-like tip has an integrated cap to prevent the penetration of snow. The 4 mm steel pick effortlessly penetrates hard snow and ice plus features large cut-outs to make it ultralight like the adze.
