The Falk is a great entry-level ice axe for ski mountaineers or classic touring skiers. Built with the same philosophy as Blue Ice's Hummingbird, the Falk offers a very good price / performance ratio. Its head is designed in chromoly alloy which guarantees it an effective anchoring and its aluminum handle ensures lightness and strength.
It is the ideal tool for novice skiers and mountaineers looking for a technical and lightweight ice axe.
Make your ice axe unique with personalized engraving. By default, Blue Ice engrave the ice axe on the back edge, just below the head, for a discreet, elegant finish.
