Description

This packraft is suitable for water hiking, adventure racing, white water kayaking, wilderness tours or long-distance trips. Its versatility makes it possible to pack with you on a flight, or carry in your backpack. 

This is the fastest boat on the market as of 2024, it is the most recommended boat for adventure racing.

The Barracuda R2 Pro differentiates from the Barracuda R2 by having a spray deck and ISS (internal storage system). You have the choice to purchase the Barracuda R2 Pro with either a permanent or detachable spray deck. Another choice is available to purchase a self-bailing floor. This choice comes with the ISS (Internal Storage System zipper) but does not come with a spraydeck.

Material

The material is handmade from top-quality urethane-coated nylon, unlike cheaper boats made of PVC or hypalon. This material is lightweight, resistant to abrasion, able to withstand UV rays, does not age, and remains flexible in cold temperatures. It has been specifically processed in order to create a smooth surface that is resistant to scratches. This produces a flexible material for simple packing and folding. If needed, the packraft can be easily repaired with a patch.

MRS is fully committed to sustainable development and heavily engaged in researching and developing TPU coated fabric. The TPU fabric used in MRS packrafts is certified by Swiss Bluesign®, ensuring that it is eco-friendly and produced in a secure environment.
