Description
Description
Note: PRE-ORDER ONLY. Please contact us if you're interested in ordering an Aleutian. Spray skirt and Pack-A-Pump sold separately.
A sea kayak that fits in your checked bag. Fifteen years in the making, the Aleutian is Alpacka's travel sea kayak: a long, slender 405 cm hull that tracks and handles like a hard shell on open water. It comes rigged with a spray deck, Cargo Fly, removable skeg, floor pad and 4-point thigh straps. It weighs 5.4 kg (11.9 lb) and fits paddlers about 170–185 cm (5'7"–6'1"). You'll need a Pack-A-Pump to fully pressurize it. The Vectran hull needs care around coral and sharp rocks.
Ideal for: experienced paddlers flying to coastlines, fjords and big lakes.
Weight: 5.4 kg (11.9 lb)
Capacity: Paddlers up to 109 kg (240 lb)
Water: Open water, coast and large rivers
Fabric: 400d TPU-coated Vectran hull, 840d floor
