About the Author: Blake Herrington
Blake Herrington is one of the Pacific Northwest's most accomplished and prolific climbers. A dedicated first ascensionist, Blake has established countless new routes throughout Washington's Cascade Range, pushing the boundaries of what's possible on the region's alpine granite walls and crags.
His deep knowledge of the Cascades comes from years of exploration, culminating in the original Cascades Rock guidebook published in 2015, which quickly became the go-to resource for climbers and sold out within months. Blake's passion for sharing the mountains and his meticulous approach to route documentation make this 2nd edition an invaluable tool for anyone seeking adventure in the Cascades.
When not establishing new routes or updating guidebooks, Blake can be found climbing year-round in the mountains he calls home, continuing to unlock the potential of Washington's incredible alpine rock.
