Description
The Black Diamond Hydra is a modular technical ice tool built around BD's Integrated Component Exchange (I.C.E.) system, so you can set it up for anything from water ice in the Alps to new lines in the Alaska Range or hard mixed climbing. It accepts the full suite of I.C.E. accessories, including picks, hammer, adze, head-weights, spikes and grip spacers. The ultra-stiff hydroformed shaft is shaped for steep terrain, from overhanging waterfall ice to hooking through mixed ground, and the over-molded grip can be fine-tuned to your hand with a lower spike or pommel option. Includes light and heavy head-weight sets, 4 mm and 5 mm wrenches and grip spacers. Sold individually.
