LF 30L

The LF 30L is the perfect balance of weight, features, comfort and durability. The goal wasn't to build the lightest pack possible, but a light pack with the features that elevate your flow in the mountains, like taking your avalanche tools out without removing the pack, easy-access pockets and a modular carry system for skis and snowboards.

Probe and shovel handle sit in side-panel pockets that keep weight close to your centre of mass, and the probe can be pulled without taking the pack off. A back panel zipper opens the main compartment fully, however you're carrying your skis, and a molded composite back panel with anti-bulge ribs stays stiff across the pack and flexible vertically. The waterproof rolltop extends the pack from 30L to 38L, and the integrated helmet carry is strong enough to hold crampons inside the helmet. The main fabric is Challenge Ultra 200TX, a UHMWPE woven that Raide says is twice as tear resistant and eight times more abrasion resistant than comparable ultralight fabrics.
