LF 40L

Light enough for everyday tours and spacious enough for your biggest objectives and hut trips, the LF 40L strikes the perfect balance of weight, function, durability and comfort. It's built for skiers who prioritize uphill efficiency and downhill style equally.

Like the rest of the Raide line, it puts quick access first: your probe comes out without taking the pack off, the shovel handle lives in a side-panel pocket, and a back panel zipper opens the whole main compartment. A stowable waterproof rolltop extends the pack from 40L to 55L, or you can use the cinch top with the rolltop folded below as a protected pocket for wet gear, or stow it away for the fastest top access. The integrated helmet carry is strong enough to hold crampons inside the helmet, and the front stash pocket has drainage to keep wet skins separate from dry gear. The main fabric is Challenge Ultra 200TX, a UHMWPE woven that Raide says is twice as tear resistant and eight times more abrasion resistant than comparable ultralight fabrics.
