Haute Route 40

The Haute Route 40 is Ortovox's long-standing ski touring classic, built for bigger days and multi-day trips. Double-layer recycled Cordura and 420D Oxford polyamide with a PU coating make it tough against abrasion and water.

The O-Flex-2 back system with its S-shaped stabilizer and load control straps spreads weight evenly between hips and shoulders, and the hip fins connect inside the frame so they wrap comfortably around the body. The main compartment opens from both the top and the back, and a separate safety compartment keeps your avalanche gear quick to reach. A rope attachment on the lid lets you pack and unpack your rope without opening the pack.
