Its ultralight, compact, and simple, so you won’t leave it behind when you are paring down your packing list. Yet, its comfortable and easy to paddle so you’ll really enjoy it when you finally get on the water.

Paddle out and catch the fish that no one else can reach or just enjoy the scenery.
Canyoneering
Perfect for access and for getting through slot canyon pools.
Fast & Light
Ideal for river crossings and a few river days on longer packraft traverses. Consider the Caribou, Refuge, or Expedition for longer river sections or whitewater.
Recreation
The Scout is a great companion at the beach, the local lake, or your local tubing area.

Build Configurations
Open
The Scout is available only in the open build configuration. Additional tie down options and the Cargo Fly are available through the Custom Lab. The Refuge adds a whitewater deck, cargo fly, and bow grab loops to the Scout hull.
Weight Capacity
Alpacka's smallest packraft, the Scout is optimized for paddlers up to 200lbs. Good for larger paddlers up to 240lbs on small lakes, but Caribou is a better fit on moving water. Cargo capacity is limited by space more than weight. Best with a small pack.
